Karnataka Board examinations are finished now. Earlier, the teachers claimed the boycott of the evaluation process. But now, the Karnataka board has made an alternative and it may publish the result earlier. To do so, the Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka has decided to introduce the online entry of the marks. In this system, the evaluators will have to fill the marks on the online portal and then it will be approved by the deputy chief examiner. The marks should be approved by both sides and then it would be encrypted.
Earlier, the evaluation centres used to send the sheets to Bengaluru in a sealed box. Then they use to open the box and fill the marks on the server. However, this year, the process would be much smoother. Now, the marks will be uploaded onto the web server and meantime steps will be get eliminated. The evaluators will do so by using the ID and password. Once, the marks will be uploaded then it can’t be updated further.
This step will make the evaluation of the sheets easier and transparent. It will also save the result announcement days by 20. As per the references, one evaluator will be provided 12 answer sheets in one day. Then they will have to check the sheets and fill the marks on the portal. For every 5 evaluators, the Karnataka board will appoint one deputy chief examiner. The Chief Examiner will cross-check the marks and then it would be uploaded and saved. After saving the marks, it would be encrypted immediately and cannot be updated.
The evaluation has been started from March 21, 2019. The examinations got finished on March 18, 2019. On Tuesday, the students appeared for the last examination of English. Last year, the result of 12th class was announced on April 30, 2018. This year, the students can assume the Karnataka PUC Result 2019 in the last week of April. However, the students may get the result earlier than the last year.
The students will be able to check the result online on the FastResult website. The web link will be updated there. In order to get the result, the students will have to fill the registration number. In this way, the students can see the result.
